Hello fellow Books; Have you figured out yet that YOU are the Book and your life is the pages?
When I was around 5 or 6 years old we lived In Louisiana. We lived in a home made of Brick I liked it. I thought was very pretty. But what does a 6 year old know about such stuff right? Some of the things that I remember,
Mom was making a garden out in the back yard, we would go out in the woods and gather cow pooh in a wagon and then mom would mix it with the sandy dirt that was our back yard. one day mom and one of my brothers were out digging in the garden making rows to plant stuff, our mom had asked my brother to go get a garden hoe so she could till the dirt and make mounds. Well on his way back WITH SAID HOE, my brother was running and jumping over the mounds that were already made when mom told him to stop and do not move, he was in mid air when she said STOP he was very close to stepping on what we , Mom found out later to be a very poisonous snake I believe it was a coral snake, if my memory serves me right.
Had that snake bitten my ,our brother his story would have had a not so happy ending...
another memory from that period, We had a neighbor lady and her husband; they both were nice.
one day she came out of the laundry port ( which is part of the car port attached to the house but you have to go out a door to get to the washer and dryer) she was kind of scared. She had gone out to get her clothes out of the dryer when she opened the dryer door there was a rather large snake in side. she slammed the dryer door shut and screamed. Later when her husband got home he got a bucket and got the snake out of the dryer and took it out into the yard between our house and theirs, and then he turned the bucket over and let the snake out but then he shot the snakes head off so it could not hurt any one...... There are more things that I remember.... but a little at a time because I have to go to bed now.....
